Roborock S8+ Filter And Brush Replacement During Setup

Setting up your Roborock S8+ for the first time involves more than just unboxing and powering it on. A crucial step is replacing the filter and brush to ensure optimal cleaning performance and longevity of the device. This guide walks you through the process of replacing these components during setup.

Preparing for Replacement

Before beginning, gather the necessary replacement parts: a new filter and a new main brush. Ensure your replacements are compatible with the Roborock S8+ model. It is recommended to use genuine parts for the best results.

Removing the Old Filter and Brush

Power off the robot and place it on a flat surface. Open the dustbin compartment by pressing the release button. Carefully remove the dustbin and extract the filter by pulling it out gently. Next, access the main brush by removing the brush cover and lifting out the brush.

Installing the New Filter

Insert the new filter into the designated slot within the dustbin. Ensure it clicks into place securely. Replace the dustbin back into the robot, making sure it is seated correctly.

Replacing the Main Brush

Align the new brush with the brush slot on the underside of the robot. Insert it firmly until it clicks into position. Replace the brush cover and secure it properly.

Final Checks and Restart

Close all compartments securely. Turn on the Roborock S8+ and run a quick cleaning cycle to ensure everything is functioning correctly. Regular filter and brush replacements during setup help maintain cleaning efficiency and extend the lifespan of your device.
